Phone Toaster
Overview
This project came about as a fun way to increase productivity and use my phone less. The solution I came up with is a device that takes your phone away and returns it after a predetermined amount of time.
Takeaways
What I learnt most in this project was how to design parts specifically for a 3D printer. Some of the important topics were print orientation, tolerances, supports, and friction.
Additionally, I learned about how screens work and how to program a user interface in C++ using the Arduino TFT library.

Key Case
Overview
This winter, my key broke off in my car's lock. Instead of purchasing a new key, I 3D printed a new case since the metal part of the key was still intact. One thing I learned is that modern cars also use transponders to prevent hotwiring. This led me through a few different iterations, where I finally landed on the design with a small slot and cover. I cut the old transponder out of the casing, and it works great.
Files
If you happen to run into this situation, I will attach the .3mf files below. My car is a 2012 Mazda 3, but it should work for similar key designs.
